Prayers from Tonight

Hi all,

Here are the prayers from homegroup tonight. Please take some time this week to think and pray for each other. Thanks for a good homegroup of random food and good conversation.

-We want to pray for Jen who is currently visiting her sister in India. Pray that she has a good time traveling and exploring and reconnecting with Jess.
-James would like us to pray for his mom, who recently found out that her contract would not be extended with the school at which she was teaching. She will be looking for a new teaching job, which may lead to a farther commute, so prayers that she would find something and adjust to it well.
-Ray would like us to pray for him and his brother who is soon to be married. His brother has lived with his fiance for a long time and so is having a hard time being excited about the marriage as it won't be much of a change. He would like prayers to be happy and excited for his brother as this is a special day for his brother.
-Ashley would like us to pray that she would be able to get a job at the Denver location of her company soon. She is also seeing a doctor for some issues with fluid in her brain, so prayers that she would be able to take the next step in this with courage and to determine where God stands with regard to the surgery and what she should do. She would also like prayers for her mom, as she has been pretty stressed about the situation.
-Kim would like us to pray for her because she has and will be working a lot of overtime lately with changes going on at work. Pray for endurance and patience as she goes through this time. Also pray for Kim as she is determining the next steps with nursing school, and needs encouragement that this is God's plan and that it will work out as it should, even if it hasn't happened as she would have planned.
-Laura wants us to pray for her aunt and uncle who are having some marriage issues, and it has been somewhat of a shock and difficult for the entire family. Also prayers for concentration and discipline when it comes to finals with school.
-Tiffani would like us to pray for her family who is moving back to Kansas. Her brother and sister-in-law are going through a transition as well and have to adjust to being back in their hometown. Also pray for Royal Family as they are in the process of recruiting and looking for staff members, as well as discussing finances. Tif is also talking budget with the board of elders, which is a tough conversation, so prayers for wisdom as they take on this issue.
-Jenna would like us to pray for her sister who also did not have her teaching contract renewed. Jenna did get a job which she is really excited about but wants to be understanding of her sister at the same time. She is almost done with school, so prayers that everything at school will end well.
-Dan wants us to pray for three friends of his who are very important to him. Prayers for his friend who is starting to learn more about God's love for her and who is close to becoming a believer but is still learning a lot. Prayers for another friend who is going through a transition with the band and making decisions in that regard.
-I would like you to pray that I would be comforted by God in knowing that my decision to move to Mississippi is the right one. I doesn't want to feel like I am losing so much when I move, and don't want to feel any regret or resentment, I just want to be excited and encouraged that I am doing the right thing in this next step of my life. I also want to pray that you all will be at my going away party on May 7th so I can see you all before I leave :)
