First of all, Jennie is leaving tomorrow to head back to Uganda! Her old job, Medair, asked her to come back for the month of June. Pray for her safety and that she would live in to each day - a sweet, sweet time.
Tiffani and the RFKC team need prayer for renewed energy and passion, intentionality and presence. Continued prayers that all the children would be sponsored. They have seen God's faithfulness and power; prayers that they would continue to trust in Him and follow His lead.
Quinton is still seeking rest and desires a mindset of constantly seeking God throughout his day. In the situation with his sister and brother-in-law, he and Naptali find it hard to know how to be supportive and feel that his family doesn't even care about it. Pray that God would work through them to show love and ultimately bring salvation. Also pray that they would be patient and open in the continued house search.
Juli has been nominated for a spot in the Peace Corps!! Congrats Juli! She won't be leaving until sometime next may so is looking for direction with what to do in the meantime. (my vote is that she stays in Denver)
Kim's sister, Amber, is engaged. :) It's going to be difficult with her family not being supportive of gay marriage as well as the legal issues in Colorado. Kim's desire is to be supportive and just love her. Pray that we could also do this from a distance. I'm constantly reminded that it's only about love, not what we think is right or wrong.
Laura started grad school on Monday and feels like she's jumping off a cliff. Pray the God would give her strength and calmness. Her dad and step-mom are moving; she's not sure how this will affect her relationship with her dad. Pray that it would only be strengthened.
Becca got the position she applied for!! yea Becca! Please also pray that Becca would be filled with strength and a comforting presence as she comes alongside her roommate, who's sister recently passed away from cancer.
There was also an abortion doctor who was murdered in the middle of church. I personally find this very frustrating that our fellow brothers and sisters (if you could even call them that) are so void of compassion and would take this level of judgement, which I believe is only reserved for God, into their own hands. Pray for his family and the Church as a whole. That we would just show love.
That we would be like the bees Margaret was talking about. :)
